Outlets, Switches & Ceiling Fans in Katy, TX

New outlets, GFCI and USB upgrades, smart switches, dedicated appliance circuits and ceiling fan installs.

A proper installation prevents problems before they start. We install outlets, switches, ceiling fans and appliance circuits the right way — with the correct wire size, the right breaker and clean, code-compliant work.

Doing it right the first time saves you the cost and hassle of fixing shortcuts later.

What's included

  • New outlet installation (standard, GFCI, USB, outdoor)
  • Dedicated circuits for appliances
  • Range, dryer and tankless water heater circuits
  • Ceiling fan installation and fan-rated boxes
  • Dimmers, three-way and smart switches
  • Garage, workshop and patio outlets

What to expect

The right protection

Kitchens, baths, garages and outdoors get GFCI; bedrooms and living areas get AFCI where code requires it. We explain which and why.

Fan-rated boxes, always

A ceiling fan on a standard light box will eventually wobble loose. We install a fan-rated brace box every time.

Appliances on their own circuit

Ranges, dryers, microwaves, dishwashers and EV chargers each get a dedicated circuit sized to the manufacturer’s spec.

How the job goes

  1. Consultation. We start with a thorough look at your home’s electrical needs. You tell us what you want to accomplish; we map the path to get there and flag anything we see along the way.
  2. Planning. A written scope of work with a firm price. No surprises. We design a solution that fits your home and your budget, and explain the options when there is more than one.
  3. Execution. Our licensed electricians complete the work with care. Clean uniforms, clean workspaces, clean results — and someone who will explain what they are doing if you ask.
  4. Certification. Every project ends with a full test, the inspection where one is required, and documentation. Your electrical system, verified and ready for the future.

Questions we hear about outlets & ceiling fans

Can you add an outlet on an exterior wall or patio?

Yes. Exterior outlets get a weather-resistant GFCI receptacle and an in-use cover.

Do I need a dedicated circuit for a new appliance?

Any fixed appliance over about 1,200 watts — microwaves, dishwashers, garbage disposals, ranges, dryers, water heaters — should be on its own circuit.

Can you install a ceiling fan where there is only a light?

Yes. We replace the box with a fan-rated brace, and if you want separate fan and light control we add the switching.

What is the difference between GFCI and AFCI?

GFCI protects people from shock near water; AFCI protects the house from arcing wires that can cause fires. Modern code requires both in different rooms.
